Usually spring break brings rain and wind, but for the first half of the week we were able to enjoy great weather. Great weather in the Willamette Valley doesn’t necessarily mean fun times at the beach, and even though there was a stiff wind to begin with, it melted away as the evening wore on. We were left all alone on the beach with family, friends, a bonfire and grub, and a sunset that just wouldn’t end. Which is why I must admit that more than a few pictures were silhouette’s: it was just too hard to turn away from the sun!
