I debated about putting this one in. Heidi looks so distressed, and at the moment, I’m sure she was. It’s not a photo that makes me feel like life is really rosy, but it’s also a very real part of our day. Fortunately, sad feelings can quickly turn around.

One note about some of the photos I post. We have seven kids, but if all the kids were counted up in my photos, there would be more than that. Our friends are here and our kids are there. It can be confusing.
