This is my make-up season.  As work, activities, and life in general has slowed down over the winter after the holidays, I’m able to take a look back to see what I’ve left hanging. I posted a session of family photos for friends earlier in the fall and mentioned that I’d put up some photos of all our kids together, because having them all together is a noteworthy image. The real point of the day was to get photos of each of our families, but the kids wanted some of them all together, as well as with their peer. Seven of these kids are ours, while the other five are each born within a couple months or weeks of our own.  They are like twin cousins and an instant party when together.

The oldest two are often confused at school, from front or back.

I’d love to say that this is how we keep order, when all together, but it’s only a show.

I wanted the kids to race towards me, but decided to give our smallest a head start.  I think it ended up being some sort of false start.

The next try, the oldest two figured they’d get in on the head start by helping the little one along.  They won.
